Mappa character designs are better imo...
But Wit has better action scenes

I liked Wit studio's version better tbh. Not that Mappa isn't also really good but Wit studio's at style and colour scheme, really gave the anime a gritty, war movie vibe that was perfect in the earlier seasons.

I prefer the Mappa studio color palette and art style. It perfectly fits the times and more realistic.
You can't have widespread death, hopelessness, destruction and betrayal while the picture looks punchy, colorful and sunny.
It needs to depict the sadness and grim atmosphere.

Anyways, studio WIT did a good job with the earlier seasons.
