No LC 300 spec is 100m please ..this is how we stoke inflation with such lies

I wonder oooo these same folks will one day say keke na N20 million if Davido buys it to empower a jobless youth - meaning to say “once a celebrity buys something - for it to make the news - the price has to be tripled)

I lost interest in the story when it ended with price between 84-110 million but the header or topic said 110million - which is the highest of the range - because the most expensive part of the lie sells faster!

Direct conversion is even more expensive.
Land cruiser for export to other countries are way cheaper because of taxation disparities.
Also, profits too will be different because of difference in economy for both countries.

On Toyota UAE website the 2022 Land cruiser with twin turbo V6 is 297,000AED. Thats about $81k, which at 580 is N47mln. Add 35% duty and 15% levy and 7.5% Vat, that's N75mln. If he brought it in itself it ends there. If he bought through Elizade, their profit margin could take the total price to close to N100mln.

Agreed for export could be abit cheaper than local prices to drive sales, but again no one knows how he bought it. Point is the N100mln is not outrageous to the extent of excessive debate. Many of the one on Jiji and co are brought in through Cotonou and no duty paid.

I personally priced Camry V6 at Lagos motor fair before covid is 2019 0rbso and it was N30mln or N32mln if I remember correctly and this was when dollar was N365 o. Something that was $36k or so at the time.

They want the youth to take over from the old people but they don't want to invest in politics. Instead of the car, why not team up with someone that is financially strong as you, such that you guys can get yourselves vehicle that is half the price of this, then you both sacrifice the remaining half to sponsor presidential form of an APC youth member. If you can't be there, you can be a sponsor. Even if the person do not win immediately, at least the old people would have feel the fact that the youths are serious about being involved and rather to be defeated in unaware and shameful way, they may start thinking of bringing in the youth so as to retain respect should the youth emerge leaders someday.
Yahaya Bello may not be perfect but his youth inclusive government in kogi state has changed the political calculation that previously favoured the older generation.
In fact one of my friends is currently contesting the state house of assembly position.

The Last of the landcruiser lineup. Its so expensive and unaffordable that toyota decided to stop sale of landcruiser in the US. Cuz people don't take it off road anymore. Well im glad I own one of the most durable of the landcruiser lineup ever manufactured.

The 80 series sure looks good on 35s with over 2inch lift

You got it right....

There is no v8 in the 2022 Land Cruiser. If it has a v8 in it, it probably is a face-lifted older version.
Plus these cars are currently scarce and have a long wait-list even in other countries.

Looking at the body panel behind the rear quarter window, it is the 2022 edition so the writer just didn't get his facts on the V8 right.

Unlike front and rear bumpers that can be facelifted, the main body panels can't be updated once a new model comes out that changes window cutouts etc.

I thought so too. But I wouldn't put anything past Nigeria auto traders once the financial incentive is high enough because I've seen wonderful things.

Yes, wait list. Or rather, you don't know what you're talking about.
Why will I wait for LC300 when it's littered in all car stands all over lagos,
Something weh don get second hand for dubai already?
Something weh Toyota dey mass produce like bottle water.
When people started paying ahead for lc 300 na when lc200 was the only landcruiser in the market,so they'll be first to get the new model design,as with every other car brand and its consumers.
But saying there's a wait list to get landcruiser now is incredibly naive.
People do that for limited ,special vehicles,no be landcruiser with so much trims such that the cheap trim to even use go farm dey.
