I am not sure what you mean by family visa.
Spousal visa is only applicable to those who their partners have a settled status ie ILR or British Citizenship

What is a Tier 2 dependent visa? Tier 2 and Skilled Worker Dependent Visas are for the spouse, unmarried partner or children of the main visa holder to come to the UK for the same period as the main visa holder

I have gone through the thread on page one, i have a quick question.
Must my job be on the shortage list to be able to apply for the health visa. my profession (dentist) is not on the shortage list but its on the skilled worker list eligible for the visa.
kindly advise.

Hello Collins4u1, job eligibility for HACW visa is not restricted to the shortage occupations list alone. Once your job/role ONS code is on the list of jobs eligible for either HACW visa or SW visa, you can apply for it. The only challenge might be whether the salary your employer is willing to offer you for your job meets the minimum salary threshold criterion. Cheers. cheesy

you can prove your knowledge of English by:
- passing a Secure English Language Test (SELT) from an approved provider
- having a GCSE, A level, Scottish National Qualification level 4 or 5, Scottish Higher or Advanced Higher in English, gained through study at a UK school that you began when you were under 18
- having a degree-level academic qualification that was taught in English - if you studied abroad, you’ll need to apply through Ecctis (formerly UK NARIC) for confirmation that your qualification is equivalent to a UK bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or PhD.

the italicized sentences above are ways of proving your proficiency in english language, Does the last sentence means that having a degree taught in english alone will suffice?
Or must i write ielts (SELT)

Each dependant will have a separate visa application. You will have to go through the same process of applying for visa for EACH of your depandants as you did for yourself. The only thing is that you will use the same CoS that you used for each of them. Check this link for more information:

As a Dentist, you're also a Doctor too. Ensure you apply to be on the appropriate register in the UK, then start applying for jobs. Once you get a job, apply for your visa and Move.
