godog:1. So what exactly are you a believer in? ![]() 2. What many questions are those and why does Judgment have to be removed in that case?, ![]() 3. How exactly do you know that I am not my belief? It's what I choose for myself so am I not allowed this ? why? ![]() 4. Are you suggesting that the belief espoused by Jesus Christ over 2000 years ago is not the same belief He expects of those who follow Him today? ![]() 5. Wrong! Jesus Christ was falsely accused of blasphemy by those in the establishment who needed Him gone. If you have read through the Gospels, you would have realized why it is written that Pharisees hired some to falsel accuse Jesus Christ of blasphemy at His trial. ![]() 6. Jesus Christ came to give men God's New Covenant Law, a standard by which men are called to live by and will be judged by Him. So tell me how exactly preaching that same standard where Christianity is concerned is the mental equivalent of barbarism? ![]() 7. Finding contrary opinions nauseating? LOL....I am afraid you need to stop pushing your personal delusions on others. ![]() I don't find contrary opinions nauseating, instead what I find nauseating is your ignorance of the Christian belief...I.e. the teachings of Jesus Christ and I made that abundantly clear when I, over and over, stressed how your understanding of the creator and his judgement does not in fact with that which is written in scripture. ![]() Ofcourse there are about 4000 religions out there but since this is nairaland, a gathering of a majority Nigerians, I doubt your OP questions had to do with Shinto religious ideas. ![]() |

godog:See, Deviation from Post! The issue is not "forgiveness" but understanding the relationship between Creator and creation. godog:This is just ramblings and complainings. If you have any reasonable and valid things to say, say it or rest. godog:I am always ready for any reasonable and valid opposition and do not forget the issue on ground. |

Maynman:Kobojunkie, sorry I think you're schooled here ![]() It's amazing how we based a lot of our future and reality off the works of fellow men like us. I have always asked; who said only the books that made their way into the bible must? Who said the book of Moses should not make it? Book of Elijah etc nko? How can a single book contain all truth? Truth that the moment your put it to writing in any physical books, most of it have to be taken off for lack of words. Truths like colors, smells, perceptions, emotions... There are answers by the way. But will one be humble enough to accept truth when it shows? Based on my experience with people of religion, no way! It's signed and sealed. Not more, not less. This is actually what spiritual death is. They state where you feel there is no room for more. Jesus exemplified this state with the "parable of the sower" and "becoming like a child" I like the approach of this god.dog guy. Any book is there to advice you on how to make PERSONAL contact with truth. Those men put their personal experiences with truth and people after them took it for divine law which cannot be changed, refuted or updated. |

Dtruthspeaker:Valid opposition? I have nothing reasonable to say. Now I rest. |

chieveboy:1. I never said the bible isn't simply a compendium of books written by men so I am not certain how you arrive at my being schooled in any way by those comments. ![]() 2. Look, no where in scripture did God instruct that you only read the books contained in your Bible so the idea that only those books matter are born of delusion of men and not God to begin with.. ![]() 3. God's Truth is not about colors, smells, perceptions etc. Those aren't it at all. According to Jesus Christ, He is God's Truth/Law in the Kingdom of God. So...maybe start with understanding what Truth really means. ![]() 4. That is indeed something for you to ponder since even your understanding of Truth where God's Word is concerned is lacking. ![]() 5. There is no such a thing as spiritual death this since one first has to be of Spirit to experience this death and men weren't born Spirits from their birth and neither do Spirits experience death since they are eternal ![]() 6. Not any book since books that are filled with ideas that are of men cannot help one make contact with Him.. ![]() |

Kobojunkie:Don’t you get? All what you are saying. All what you said “God” said were inputted, collected, canonized and complied by ignorant men, it has been edited and redacted. You are reading opinions of men thinking it is a God. The scriptures you are talking about do you know its origin? If we are to look at the Bible you are using, it will be a VERSION. do you know what a version is? How many versions we have? Who created the concept of trinity? When did they debate it before accepting it? Every single thing you know about your so called “God” was edited by ignorant men. And Roman Catholic even had more impart in the “Christianity” you have now. Scriptures means writings don’t think it’s spiritual or anything. Are you referring to Jewish scriptures?

Kobojunkie:What's your problem for crying out loud? If a lizard has the ability to write, will it be denied a say in the topic on ground? Or is it not part of creation? You already told me what your belief says but must I believe you because it's a popular belief? Kobojunkie, be reasonable nah. If I chose not to belief, how does that translate to an attack on your belief. I don't have problem with any religion, I'm not just satisfied with any. Show me where I have condemned Christianity. Ha! Which kind wahala be this. In fact, I was also raised as a Christian but curiosity will not let me rest, and I will not settle for anything. Did the Bible not say, "judge not and ye shall not be judged" So, even if your insinuation about my post is right, don't I have a backing in your scripture? It's okay abeg. |

Kobojunkie:Learn how to respect people's opinions, I'm not your creator. If you have any delusion that is bothering you so much, consult that which give you so much confidence. Why should I address your questions, is this the purpose of my thread. Why are you behaving as if nairaland is your property, do I sound like someone who need your opinion? Say what you think of me if that's what you're struggling with. Keep your wisdom and let me enjoy my ignorance. What else do you want? |
| Re: The Creator's Dilemma by Kobojunkie: 4:27pm On May 15, 2022 |
godog:Those questions came as a retort following your own comments. So when you are done being defensive and ready to infact tackle that which arose from your own OP, let me know then. ![]() |

Kobojunkie:Everyone was wailing as the body is being lowered into the ground. I was watching too but not crying like others. Suddenly my ear intercepts a mournful conversation among a group of wailers. They were mentioning my name at intervals. Behold, it's my burial. Here I am trying to have fun but the whole song is turning into a dirge again. Now the feeling is nostalgic, I want to go back home and tell my people - I'm not dead. But the dream will not repeat itself, yeah! The death happened in one of my dreams. What has become of my dream family; I know not. O Lord, take my life tonight and let me not return into this realm of discord. Amen As you can see I await death even as I'm typing this. I'm done living, I want to feel death, I'm tired of being told what death is. Do you have any message for people in hell or heaven. I don't know where the train will drop me, but I promise to deliver your message. Kobojunkie, pray that my soul find rest. |
| Re: The Creator's Dilemma by Kobojunkie: 5:19pm On May 15, 2022 |
godog:1. There's are currently none in Heaven or in Hell, and you only qualify for Heaven or Hell if you are first born-again. Unbelievers simply cease to exist when they die since there is no afterlife for them. ![]() 2. Your soul will only find the "rest" that you give to it. No prayer can do anything about that on your behalf. ![]() |

| Re: The Creator's Dilemma by Kobojunkie: 5:52pm On May 15, 2022 |
godog:That "bolded part" is what God and Jesus Christ taught. It is God's Truth to all men. ![]() |

Kobojunkie:Your Bible The part unbelievers souls ceasing to exist |
| Re: The Creator's Dilemma by Kobojunkie: 6:36pm On May 15, 2022 |
suicidesheep:Well, the bible is a compendium of books which contain the opinions of men, Satan and even demons, along with God's Word , all written by the hand of men and in the language of men. There is nothing holy about that book. ![]() God made that clear in Genesis 3 vs 19 - 22 where God declared to unbelieving Adam, "... from dust you were made and to dust you shall return, fate all that awaits all men who have no eternal/after life - Genesis 3 vs 22 ![]() Jesus Christ also informed His own that only those who believe - eat what you call communion and are born-again- can have eternal life which He offers - John 3 vs 16. He also importantly informed them that only those who are born-again can gain access to the Kingdom of God - John 3 vs 5 - 8 - through either of the broad gate which leads to destruction(Hell) or the narrow gate which leads to true life(Heaven) - Matthew 7 vs 13 - 14. This where Heaven and Hell are both of the Kingdom of God, a kingdom not of this world where Jesus Christ is King and righteousness rules- Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46. ![]() |
