What sort of news is this. Una knw how much banks made last year alone.

Except greedy banks that just want to sack for no reason, there is nothing like lack of profit.

Some banks made as high as 180-200 billion PAT last year.

CBN has given them go ahead to sack, very unfortunate, banks and their dangerous creativity, they introduced this idea of contract staffing to Nigeria. How can you pay someone 50k to work for 10 hours year in year out, no paid leave, no health insurance nor gratuity chai.

Before nko. Was expecting it. There is no business in Nigeria presently that runs constant 100kva or 150kva diesel generator that will not face financial suicide now. Unless the NEPA in that business area gives constant power supply

Why are these bankers so mean despite the money they are making still wouldn't agree they are making high yield that can take care of their expenses

Digital banking is the way forward. Many bank employees and contract staff would eventually lose their jobs.

When they say they want to sack I wonder what they mean. A branch that has 6 teller points only has 2 staffs attending to customers. Are they going to sack the 2 tellers? Most of these banks are already under staffed

Yeah and Standard chartered Bank of Nigeria and Mintyln. In fact all digital banks would be smiling.
