Good Morning NLers. I am basically tired of Samsung and the cost of maintenance… I have used three Samsung phones and currently using the S10+ which I have been using for three years….

The screen got damaged last year and I had to fix it with 110k… that price is just too much to pay for the cost of repairs but I had to endure then last month my son threw on the ground and same screen issues came up again… I won’t be coughing up money for repairs anymore… I think it’s time I say my goodbyes to that brand… I like their phones a lot but sadly the cost of maintenance is something else.

Open to recommendations of other good Android phone I can buy for less than 200k, I have an iPhone which I have been using for awhile but sadly I am an android person…I am not a picture person and I am not a game person just an average phone user… surf the net and play musics occasionally…

Someone recommended the oppo 6 and another talked about infinity Zero X pro, so guys what do you recommend?

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro (Midrange beast, Great cameras, decent performance, overall great build)

Xiaomi Poco F3 (Performances beast, decent camera with support of Gcam)

UK used Samsung S21(Flat display, not as expensive as that of S10 Plus)

Used Xiaomi MI 10/Pro (Around 180-200) Seen imported used ones here around the price. It's a flagship device. A steal for the price. New one would be around 300k+, but you cannot find it.




Considering the brand you're coming from, I'd say you stay away from Infinix. Opoo devices are overpriced in NG, not worth oty

Most phones around that price range these days have oled displays which are always very expensive, might not be as expensive as that of S10+ but expensive still so have that in the back of your mind. If you really want to spend up to 200k and camera is not what you're most interested in then go for Poco F3 or if you want to save some money then Redmi note 11 or 10 pro, there's also Poco X3 GT from konga, it has a cheaper and lower quality screen than these other ones but has an amazing performance

Any phone with Amoled screen is very expensive

I checked the price of xiamio I never knew those phones were expensive

Leader… I may settle for that Xiaomi Mi 10 but I would want to know if the screen is also as expensive as Samsung since you said they all use Oled and that makes them all expensive?

Mi 10 original screen is almost 90k.

But do you plan to damage the screen? There's a very low chance of that happening if you use the phone well
