You're obtuse as always.
10 yrs ago I believe in top 100 banks in Africa by asset - kenya had one or zero bank in there - Poor Ghana is right there.
Nigeria had all the 18 banks after their forced mergers in Obasanjo regime.
Now as we speak - Kenya has more than 10 banks in Africa top 100.
And Equity has climbed to no 22 - it's only behind 4 Nigeria banks. It should overtake 2 banks in 2yrs
And in less than 5yrs it would have overtaken Zenith and First Bank.
10yrs ago - Equity bank total assets were 2B dollars - now it's grown to 12B dollars!! - 6 times in 10yrs.
KCB, CO-OP, NCBA, DTB, name them climbing each year.
Watch the trend.
So you'll find 5 kenyan banks ahead of all Nigeria banks smiley
When it happen hit us,otherwise we are tired of this future tenses,we will,we are trying. Lol it’s getting stale.

Stupid as ever.

You said the same thing 6 years ago and you are yet to catch up. Nobody saw access bank becoming one of Africa's top bank six years ago. Now it's up there. Keep dreaming and projecting. wink

Abuja in its initial plan and design, was not laid out to have many skyscrapers. Germany for instance, have many developed and beautiful cities but only Frankfurt has that many skyscrapers comparable to Lagos, Nairobi, or Johannesburg. Skyscraper is not necessarily development, we are just being carried away by Dubai and the U.S.
Even us is doing away with Em

As far as I'm concerned, roads, railways, pipeborne water, electricity, and number of estates are more important hallmarks of development for a big city. It doesn't necessarily have to be skyscrapers.

Seems Ruto and Atiku have many things in common besides being Vice Presidents. They are both frauds and shameless thieves grin

Tinubu at this stage is way better than Atiku. I have never even considered Atiku, not even in 2019.

You don't get it, do you?

You can have 1000 kenyan banks doing well however if many or your citizens are poor, starving and suffering your banks rank in Africa is nothing.

Except there are too many of them Across Africa.

There aren't many Kenyans doing well in Kenya.

Your country has only 5 million middle class people and everyone else is a hell lot poor.

Get that now?

UK has just unveiled the final design of the central railway station - in Nairobi. The station will also link an electric commuter train to JKIA.

Maybe you mean Nigeria - which has a poverty rate of nearly 50%. The ratio of people suffering from poverty in Kenya vs those who live past the poverty line is proportionally light night and day, with the rich taking the upper hand.

Living better should reflect in QOL and life expectancy. Accra as a yardstick with a rate of 22% quality of living standards vs Nairobi @ 86% should be enough evidence to bring your puny brain back on track.

Also, Ghana has a life expectancy lower than Kenya. If you live better, you should stay longer.

Why are you talking about the basics, which are more of a primary need - and compulsory for survival?

Let's try and talk about things that improve aesthetics & modernity.

Technology & skyscrapers are important in the modern world. Although, that does not entirely mean that skyscrapers are the only tools that define modernization or development as you may put. Some countries have invested heavily in Tech cities with low-rise buildings, and they are doing pretty much better than the majority of African nations with skyscrapers.

We should also not overlook the fact that the most developed city in the world is filled with skyscrapers - and pioneered by skyscrapers.
Same case in Africa. I believe Johannesburg is the most developed city in Africa, and at the same time, it's the only city with the highest number of Tall buildings - skyscrapers.

I think we both know that Ghana's quality of life is far above that of Kenya in various reports spanning 30 years.

So what's this joke about again?

The middle class in Ghana is almost 15 million which is 3 times of Kenya's. That explains why properties in Kenya largely remain empty and largely dependent on tourist short stay.

Ghana doesn't have the economic might in Africa to be so brash! Besides, we can't eat bush rats. Starving is way more honourable.

What reports? Tourists stay in hotels, maybe in Ghana they stay in private properties. Ghanaians have no clue what entails tourism or any industry for that matter. Unless it's begging the IMF for handouts!

For your information, Ghana earns more than double what your country earns from tourism.

Since 2019, Ghana had more tourists than Kenyans. Apart from tourism (for the sake of it), Ghana is also the center of attraction for African Americans looking to visit Africa, the close second is Tanzania. African Americans aside, Ghana has become a tourist destination in the last few years and has made more money in that sector recently than Kenya from the last statistics I checked.
