My mtn pocket wifi isn't charging well. It is nonremovable battery. when plug in it will charge like 3mins and then stop. Pls can someone help me out.

Where you able to rectify this issue? I bought mine last week and I realized it happens the same way too.

I cant charge it while using it, sometimes it charges for about 2-3minutes and stops, sometimes it doesnt charge at all. But it charges when its switched off.

yes I did something it worked, I didn't loose it again

Same issue with yours.
Not charging consistently.
Only charges reliably when turned off

It's caused by high temperature due to constant usage. Always leave it on a tiled floor when charged. Also leave it for a while before charging.

I think I finally found the solution.
I changed the battery and it's been charging and lasting way way way longer.
MTN likely shipped faulty batteries to us.

Mine has been working for somedays now with no issues. Did nothing.
How much did you get the batter?

I bought it four thousand naira on jumia.
They actually luckily shipped me a bigger battery 2800mah.
Lasts about 10 hours

Bros please can you share a picture of the battery and the vendor you bought it from please ?
Also how do I go about removing the battery ?

Just get the right screw driver and unscrew it.
There are five screws inside. You'll see them when you pop off the back cover.
Note 5 screws. The 5th one might is hidden. So take note, lest you break the something trying to force it open while a screw is still in place.

Thank you for your response, are you sure this is the same modem you are using ? It seems this battery you posted is for a different modem. Can you share a picture of the modem ?
