For almost a year now, I have been battling with poort MTN network. It would be good from 12am to 9am and anything past that is slower than snail.

I struggle hard to load any pages.

Someone suggested that I should get a 4G device, either phone or Mifi router and that it be good.

I checked my current phone which I used to browse on my laptop and I discovered that its max reach is 3G.

Does anyone here ever experienced this sort of problem? Will getting the 4G device help?

Yes. Get a 4G device. You are suffering from congestion due to network capacity utilisation issues on the 3G. Which state do you have this issue?

Ogun. I do not intend to buy a phone now as I have some apartment fixes going at my house. Will using a 4G MiFi router like MTN solve this issue for me? As you can see, it is past 12am now and the network seems to be good...

MTN and bet9ja have one thing in common, poor all round service yet have the highest number of customers...

MTN will just deduct half of your 500mb night sub and start deducting from your main data..

Sell your phone and buy new network coverage.

Yes. Go to any MTN connect store or dealership point and request for HyNet flex.

Thanks, I have bought it. It cost 25k. Though the MTN office I went to does not have but I bought from a big phone dealer at same price as MTN stated.

And how fast has it been?

In this 2022, we Nigerians are still complaining of poor network, while MTN, Airtel etc keeps on smiling to the bank making billions of Naira.

IT is far better than when I depended on my phone for wifi. Only downside is that when it rains some times, network slows down a bit but picks up later.
