ASUU are employees of the FG. Everyone else is running on Ippis. But ASSU want to be administering their salaries by themselves. No one else in the FG has these claims of underpayment. ASUU Claims that they have a salary structure that is too arcane and complicated IPPSS.

All this came out in our discussions

In addition ASUU claim to have developed their own payment solution in-house. UTAs. They insist on using an untested system. This is the same ASSU we all grew up in, that are teaching 1970s fortran and cobol. I personally am really interested in seeing this so called UTAs, because I suspect it will turn out to be a third party insecure poorly coded free open source system downloaded from the net .

The ASSU that are claiming they have a solution said nothing about housing the data. Servers, battery backup, CRAC, fire protection, emergency recovery.

I was thoroughly disappointed listening to them. They sound like the lecturers we all remember, entitled, ignorant and completely out of it
