if it is whatsapp it is possible. But still be wary,But if he calls you are suppose to see the country he is calling from. But it is stiil good to be skeptical , Nigerians can be something else

I have my MTN sim on my other phone. Works with roaming - can make and receive calls on it - typically I pay for receiving calls on it.

From comments above, in this instance I think your caller is a fraud.

For the OP, yes! It's called roaming, and you pay for both outgoing and incoming calls. Some of the times, you pay more for incoming calls than outgoing calls.

The last time I checked, Western Union wasn't available in Nigeria, so he could be a scammer. But if he's genuine, it doesn't matter if your AUNTY is using Naira or Dollar account. But since you said she's using a Naira account, her bank will convert the $2k using CBN Dollar to Naira rate.

Remove this before scammers/yohoo guys take your sister's money

It is possible. I have a friend in Island chatting with his Nigerian number till date and even calls with it also do I have a godfather in Dubai using his number to call me.

But be very careful,not all who claim are outside is true. GEt your facts right and confirm then money being sent is not implicating or from malicious activities.
