I never said it takes only a Northerner to win elections, i am being specific with the standings of APC and PDP.

APC is the ruling party and the odds are stacked heavily against them.

Even right now i can tell you already that PDP will get more votes than APC in SE and SS irrespective of the candidates which emerge eventually.

Now picture them leaving their stronghold which is the North and going SW while PDP goes North.

Them don lose be that.

You have to pit on your thinking cap and analyse deeply; not just sit down there and exposing your shallow mentality.

Who would be Buhari's running mate before he clinched the ticket in 2014 wasn't an issue. In fact, the eventual running mate wasn't in the equation at all. So, chillax.

If PDP has refused to allow power go South, and they go for Atiku or Tambuwal, then APC should never make the mistake of going South.

Another Abiola has risen and Tinubu will knock out any northern candidate presented by PDP with the backing of the majority of his Yoruba kith and kin …..just like they queued behind him during the formation of APC.
Those in the SS/SE may show their natural ambivalence at the start but they too will fall in line in due time.
Tinubu is the only one bold enough to chart the course that will eventually give the SW/SS/SE the political freedom they’re yearning for…..that’s why the northern cabal are scheming against him! Keep watching!!

Politics isn’t about we will cross it when we get there. Politicians always think things through. If by now, you have no idea of who the VP will be, Tinubu isn’t the best choice for the party then.

It was just a verbal interview from the chairman to keep people busy. It wasn't a memo or a kind of policy statement from the party. So the chairman' s interview can and will be disowned. Buhari has a candidate and his candidate CAN NEVER loose APC primary. The only way to get his candidate through is by consensus arrangement. And he will go the way of consensus.

There goes out of the window the hope of those waiting to emerge through consensus or anointing.

A party needs to field their strongest candidate who emerges through keenly contested primary in a free and fair atmosphere. Force any aspirant on the party and watch yourself disintegrate like a pack of cards.

If a consensus should even be used, does it make sense to give the ticket to someone who has never won an election in his life? Someone who could not win his polling booth? Or someone whose state is controlled effectively by PDP where Wike has practically silenced him?

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains the right man for APC. He ticks all the right boxes and he is liked across the country except by Mpurimurim people who cannot even hold their governors to account.

BAT will win the ticket and win the general election convincingly by God's Grace, in sha Allah.

APC's supporters of the opportunistic VP should take heart.
PDP's supporters who have been praying and fighting for "Obi or Osinbajo" should also take heart.

Get used to saying President Bola Ahmed Tinubu already.
