Folajimi, Lai Mohammed’s Son Loses Third Term Ticket To Lagos Assembly by iwaeda(op): 4:52pm On May 27, 2022

Folajimi Mohammed, son of Minister of Information and Culture, has lost the ticket to represent Ikeja State Constituency 1 in the Lagos State House of Assembly.

The Minister’s son who is representing the constituency for the second time, failed to secure his re-election ticket in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary held on Friday.

While Folajimi polled nine votes in the election, his rival, Seyi Lawal, garnered 15 votes.

Lawal’s supporters jubilated as chairman of the Electoral Committee, Comrade Ewuoso Olamide, declared him the winner of the exercise.

This nonsense has to stop, there is no state without sufficient number of qualified indigenes to fill all the elective offices.

Even some states that no one dares to apply into their state civil services will come and start occupying high elective offices in Lagos, later claiming they developed Lagos.

The papa is from kwara, while the son is from lagos. Nigerian politicians. That's how el rufai's father is from katsina while el rufai is from kaduna.
Let nobody compare it to US where they use State of Residence. That's where u hear "Im formerly from Texas but now from Washington" because for them, u are from where you live, work and pay taxes. But in Nigeria, we use State of Origin. That's why a man that lives, works and pay taxes in US, like Ngige, election period will run to Anambra and go there and contest. An igboman that lives, does business and pays taxes in kano will run to Abia and contest during election. In Nigeria, you are from where your father comes from.
My father can't come from Imo and I will go and say I'm from Abia. How Sir?!
