Some other times, it would be higher than this, and of course, some days, lower than this, but this is my current speed.

I have gotten over 90mbps on this small Mifi. You can imagine downloading an episode of your favorite movie of about 250mb in about 3secs.

I don't know about others, but the server I'm connected to is doing me well.

I got mine at their office today for 7k, it working fine until I noticed 7gb finished in 2 hours and I wasn't even doing anything just to see how well it connects, I know WiFi connection consumes data way more than mobile data but this is outrageous, I don't know maybe it's defective.

You probably might have connected devices that had a lots of pending updates set on wifi availability.

Nop. Go to your wifi connection, click on the connected device and set it to metered.
I nearly got high pressure when my 5gb finished in 2hrs without doing anything

If you connected it to a PC, check the WiFi settings and set it as "Metered Connection"

There's something MTN does that I don't like.

They don't allow you exhaust your data. Imagine buying about 20GB, then you have maybe 3GB left, MTN would start to freeze your connection, just so you can renew your bundle or top up.
Meanwhile, 3gb is a lot.

And for me, I've experienced a faster network with Airtel. It's just that Airtel isn't consistent with their delivery

Can't remember how much... The battery would give over 24hrs, at first. Over time, you would need to charge once in a day.
That shouldn't be a problem.

I bought the Airtel Router on January 4, 2022 and at the moment the Router won’t connect to the internet unless it is plugged! I took to their office in Ibadan and the Marketer told me point blank that the Router wasn’t designed to run on batteries! You can imagine my disappointment.

I bought the Mifi on the spot for 5k and it’s making a lot of sense.

My plan now is to unlock the Router, purchase another battery and it will hopefully start serving me.

In summary, RUN from the Airtel ROUTER!

Both the Router and the Mifi Modem I bought are no longer in use.

Why can't I use airtel router sim on airtel mifi device. It doesn't browse.

I bought the airtel mifi a year or two ago and have been enjoying it, even did a 1yr plan, but for the last few months their network has been inconsistent and I'm getting dns issues on my laptop when connected to the mifi, most pages will load as server not found, I need to reload the page several times before it works, but on mobile I don't have the issue, everything loads well, don't know why. I'm currently considering buying the router cause I have a smart tv and other devices that can only be connected with cable but I need to make sure I won't get the page loading issues anymore before I buy
