Hi everyone,

I ought to get my first car(Toyota Corolla Hatchback Back popularly known as Obama) last year, but one thing led to another I was unable to get the ride. I've been reading threads here on nairaland about thief removing Corolla's brain box and the likes, anyways that's not the issue...

I need advice from those that have used BMW before and majorly 3 series, I'm thinking of going for the 320i cause it's a 4 cylinder engine, what should I put in mind as am planning to get the car

Buy it ,BMW is good....I use a chrysler too....I can't buy anything Toyota....the theft rate of Toyota is high...buy car wey u go get rest of mind...BMW is a good car..when u are going to buy a BMW make sure u get a BMW specialist or German mechanic specialist that specialises on Audi,BMW and Benz....

So when u buy the car after you must have gone with Ur specialist,as Ur mechanic dey change oil etc ,dey learn am with Ur eyes...now my specialist that comes to service and do other things on my Chrysler....I have learnt alot with my eyes when I see him touching things in the car...the last time my alternator belt cut,Omo Na me fix am...e shock u?.... Make sure Ur mechanic does home service for u oo...don't leave Ur car with the mechanic to take Ur car way to his workshop oo cos u give them more advantage to remove original components in the car and they put inferior parts.all these Mechanics I don't trust them...so most times my mechanic comes to my house to fix whatever or servicing ,all in my house so I put an eye on what he is doing and also learn ,Incase he is not around...I can do those this myself...

My next car is a BMW 7series.....I am a BMW fan

Fuel consumption should be the least of your worries if you honestly wish to use a BMW.

BMW is a fantastic car and needs 100% attention from the user. If you have a bad maintenance culture or have a habit of cutting corners, please avoid the BMW because it won't withstand abuses.

That's my 2 cents I hope it helps.

Like I said it's going to be my first car, though have been cruising around a lot with my dad's car and I do know whenever a car gives a sign that needed attention... I'm going for bmw anyway I just think starting with a 4 cylinder engine will be a great idea
