Very likely and unfortunately that power is going back to the North. The permutations now is that the North will vote for the Northern candidate even if APC present a Southerner ! Tinubu or any other APC Candidate can’t beat Atiku in this election due to his health issues and the general unacceptability from the whole South. Recall Atiku has more than 12Million votes from the North then and very likely it will be higher this time for sentimental reasons. The sentiment of Tambuwal stepping down for Atiku to clinch the ticket has resonated with the Northerners to embrace the opportunity for the Presidency to remain in the North! So sad for our Democracy but it’s a hard price to pay for the Southerners (SE, SS and SW) for not embracing dialogue and open unification to address the most important issues. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

VEHINTOLAR:No gbege will happen at all, the worst people from South to do is to abstain from voting or work against the party candidate, at the end power will still remain in the north. 4 Likes |

Arysexy: Not surprised you said same about PDP primaries, before he ran of course. But then, talking about detribalized, elightened individuals, why will any of such person want to associate with a highly tribalized, backward individuals like the south east, THE ONLY POLITICS THAT SOUTH EASTENERS ARE GOOD WITH IS POLITICS OF TRIBE AND HATRED. Case in point Your dishonourable self! Do you need my address so you can send some of your UGM comrades for the BEHEADING POLITICS |

TempleHouse:Southern disdain for SE just as Orji Uzor Kalu posited is causing all these. SW people always say power is not given you must work for it. 1999 the whole of South ensured OBJ won even when SW didn't support him North regards SE more than their neighbours 6 Likes |

wolesmile:That's to tell you how rotten in the brain these northerners can be sometimes. They are just so dumb, how does Akeredolu relate to who PDP presented as candidate? Just looking for a point to nail him, not knowing he was making a big fool of himself. He should have chosen something better, set of buffons. 1 Like 1 Share |

Gozac: Hmmm, trust me,you have no idea....... ! APC party primary is just some days away, right ? Let them announce a northerner too as the party flag bearer just like the PDP and wait to experience the meaning of "gbege" ! Those who are looking for whatever estate their lunatic grandfathers bequeathed to them will have to go to futa toro or futa njalon ! |

Arysexy: It's now I know that many Igbos commenting on this presidential issues lack sense, they are too emotional to reason with their brain. In APC the major States are the north and Southwest , while in PDP the north ,southeast and south South.it's only logical that the Easterners should endeavor to get the presidential ticket from PDP while the southwest will hussle for the APC ticket, that way the presidency will be between the southerners 1 Like |

Bendeco02: South west still worked with South south and south east to deliver victory to Jonathan in 2011...as shown below...And south west was extremely marginalised in the new govt of Oga Jona......now u tell me just one time like this that SE ever worked for SW.

Gozac: Gozac:Absolutely, the opportunity for SE for the Presidency was knifed the day Uzor Kalu openly supported another Northerner against his kinsmen. I cannot understand why such a high profile Igbo man cannot speak for his people but rather think about his own myopic ambition It is a missed opportunity ! |

Akeredolu a pdp member, someone was talking about his own party. Northerners are dull. It is south east that is mumu[/quote] Just look at you ! But he was having meetings with all the southern governors irrespective of their party affiliation for southern presidency. On the basis of equity and justice. 2 Likes |

mp3ree: Whenever issue of other Southern regions supporting SE comes up, you Yorubas will come up with this your defence. In 2003, how many states in SW were PDP controlled? Yet, SE that was 100% PDP supported and voted a yoruba man. This is how you people continued to cheer and support Buhari exclusion of SE in his govt and kept saying SE did not vote APC and therefore must not reap where they did not sow. The kind of politics SW play is dangerous to southern unity. Your Tinubu schemed and made sure that SE was not among the top 6 principal office position. When GEJ was been fought by Northerners in 2015, it was SW they used to achieve it. You ppl should stop this betrayal, it does not do south any good 5 Likes 1 Share |

Gozac:Very soon, you will blame your impotence on Tinubu. I don't know where y'all nonentities got your warped imaginations. SE had the opportunity to produce the Senate President if they had voted for Ngige but all plea fell on deaf ears, it's their loss. Tinubu had absolutely nothing to do with Rochas's travail neither with Ameachi vs Abe's saga. Some dolts have also blamed him for Zamfara crisis and the incarceration of OUK.
