Let me tell you where I'm coming from. The company I work for has a contract with Saipem and Liquid bulk that requires me going to the two places from time to time. Both companies are accessible through two roads, Aker and Nkpor road.

Back in 2018, the entire Aker road was not motorable, that road ranks among the worst road I have ever seen. NKPOR road was even worse.

What I usually did then was park my vehicle by the main road(Iwofe road) and take Keke over 4kms down to my destination. This had its own problems. Sometimes I forget things in the car and I have to take Keke back to the main road. It was very inconvenient. If I ever attempt to take my vehicle through that road, the next number I'll be calling will be that of a panel beater or mechanic

Today, both Nkpor and Aker roads have been completely rehabilitated.

How about traffic congestion at Artillery and Rumuola? You don't want to know what we went through in those places before he constructed those flyovers.

Visit the state owned universities (UST and Ignatius) and compare the ambience, road network, lecture halls with that of uniport. Even a blind man who visits can tell the difference. Everytime I vist UST or Ignatius, there is always one ongoing building project funded by the state. I can't remember the last time I saw anything of such in uniport.

How about security? Do you know how people used to be kidnapped in this town back in the days? People will have money and be scared of buying vehicles for fear of being kidnapped.

The issue of gratuity is not perculiar to Rivers state.

I stand to be corrected but I don't think there's any state that is not owing. In Ogun state, my mum has not been paid since she retired in 2014.

Please analyse the strength and weaknesses of real Madrid, juxtapose it along with that of Liverpool and you will get what I mean by Real Madrid being compact yesterday. There was no space at all for Liverpool attackers to breathe,the chances liverpool got wasn't as a result of their normal or usual build-up which real Madrid mitigated,but as result of putting so many balls in the area hoping for a slip up from real Madrid players. Real madrid on a very good day would have been found wanting to any of Liverpool's attacker judging from their previous game.Mahrez,Greealish,Neymar,Mbappe,name them had that one on one moment and spaces both ahead and behind them,none of this liverpool attackers yesterday had this kind of opportunity,which is a testament to the fact that they were compact. Like RSSDA like PRESSID. Goodluck Jonathan was to blame for this.
