Let me clarify it for you. Biden never said one thing and the Pentagon said another thing. It is the white house that usually "CLARIFIES" Biden's statement that the US stance on Taiwan has not changed (That is in relation to the Taiwan's act and the one China principle). The Pentagon also usually says the same thing. But have it at the back of your mind that if Biden decide to go to war with China tomorrow, the Pentagon can't say otherwise.

As for Russia/Ukraine war. Same way thousands of Russian Soldiers are being killed. Whatever a US official says about the morale of the Ukrainian army doesn't mean if Biden declare war on China tomorrow for invading Taiwan, the Pentagon will not follow orders.

Taiwan was also conquered and ruled by the Japanese from 1912 to 1945... Long story short, the people of Taiwan, Tibet, Hong Kong want their freedom. In Ukraine, I'd say if the ethnic Russians want to join with the mainland Russia, let them! Let them have their freedom!! The ethnic Russians in crimea are now wishing to return to Ukraine.

Do you know that the Kuomintang were the sole government of all China before they lost a civil war to the communist army led by Mao and his communist generals. The Kuomintang only moved to Taiwan and has not surrendered to the communist party. They were the only recognized representative of the Chinese people not until the change in policy in the 70s.

So the US isn't using Taiwan or pushing Taiwan, the US is only standing with a friend who believes in the same democratic values as she does.

You re very funny even your US master can't call Taiwan a country, Taiwan is officially known as the Republic of China if you don't know ,just like Hong Kong ,China allows one country different systems, keep crying ,the UN and 99% of countries recognise Taiwan as part of China , only appealing for China not to use force to unify the country. Learn about the history and how those agreement came into effect.
