Apc will finish itself totally to present any of its 22 light weight politicians that can not win a polling unit

The only person in Apc that can match Atiku is BAT
BAT ke?
He is not getting the ticket no matter how dirty he fights

If they field Tinubu, Buhari and the Northern caucus will see to it that At ik u wins so that power goes back to the north. However, personal interest is here too, they may be scared At ik u might useless them if he becomes the President too. Fingers crossed

I disagree with you again ferg.ie001. Don't forget that the seven days notice of submission of delegates list is just a mere guideline by INEC for operational purposes. You remember what the supreme court said in the case of Wike and dakuku peterside? Where the SC said a mere guideline by INEC can not supersede the provisions of the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria as regards the use of smart card reader. It was after that judgement that the card reader was incorporated as law. That was how Wike escaped.
How did the INEC guideline contravene the Constitution?

(1) The constitution and rules of a political party shall-
(a) provide for the periodical election on a democratic basis of the Principal officers and members of the executive committee or other governing body of the political party; and

(b) ensure that the members of the executive committee or other governing body of the political party reflect the federal character of Nigeria.

(2) For the purposes of this section –
(a) the election of the officers or members of the executive committee of a political party shall be deemed to be
periodical only if it is made at regular intervals not exceeding four years; and

(b) the members of the executive committee or other governing body of the political character of Nigeria only if the
members thereof belong to different states not being less in number than two-thirds of all the states of the Federation
and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

It centred on the Constitution and tenures of Ward, LG, State Committees, etc

Moreover, the Court didn't give an order but only interpreted that Section ..that means APC is not at liberty to include Statutory Delegates, it becomes the Choice of the NWC.

So, the Constitution didn't rule on INEC's 7 days and so on. APC submitted their delegates list since May 21.

If they touch the Statutory Delegates List now, the PDP will just give them SUKUS

The only thing APC can do now, is follow the list INEC has. The judgement was quite late, INEC didn't even respond it was only the APC Chair that did.

I still think the judgement was delivered per incuriam.
It's still strange to me how the national assembly members will pass a law that bars them from voting in the convention of their parties. How nobody saw this still remains a mystery to me. Both rep and senate nobody saw this? These guys are just clowns. Ahmed lawal be done corner all National assembly members. Lol....badt guy

The only thing in their big heads was how to stop Governors and Ministers. Worse thing is Gbaja said he is a lawyer and you have many lawyers in there as well...

That was how they were rushing Constitutional Amendment that time. Now, many of them won't be returning because of their trying to take on needless fights.

Nothing is moving. The judgement is a mere academic exercise. The 7days ultimatum has expired for submission of the list of delegates to the INEC.
Who told u that are an INEC officer or APC executive committee.

These APC guys are mad. Continue, you didn't learn from the Zanfara incident. I will assume that the national leadership is wise enough to avoid such a treacherous move. Using statutory delegates will certainly spell doom

The electoral law says that all parties shall submit the list of delegates that will be voting in any contention, at leat 7 days to the date of that convention. APC convention comes on the 6th, hence it's expected that APC must have submitted the list of the delegates that will be voting on or before 30th of may.

This judgement is a mere academic exercise, because the event of the past has taken over the judgement already.

APC had already forwarded the list of delegates that will vote in the primary.

According to our electoral law, all political parties shall submit the list of delegates that will vote in any convention, not later than 7 days before the stipulated date.
I like people with wisdom and not the urchins we have here. You have said it all brother

Did Lawal ever thought he would be candidate in 2023 election?

Meanwhile, if God want to install his anointed, he would confuse)arrest the mind of every actors needed to make it happen.

Whoever becomes president in 2023, he is truly anointed of almighty.

The electoral act is subject to the constitution at all times. Know this and know peace.
But it cannot revise a completed act. Not when other political parties have taking steps and certainly not when list of delegates has been submitted.

By this judgment, are you saying PDP has a right to conduct fresh primaries as to allow statutory delegates vote?

Apply broad spectrum approach. It’s a confusionist judgment and it’s obviously a recipe for disaster.

There's no retrospective action for most of our laws. if there would be, it must be stated clearly.

Tinubu's side knowing that they will loose as things stand now makes their move to use a court judgement to help themselves. Alas, they will fail.

Let’s see how INEC and the parties manage that….now that a Court has just ruled on 3rd June that Statutory Delegates must also vote at the APC primaries!
