Nigerians don't really understand the difference between party primaries and general elections. You can liken party primaries to be like a house project: You bought the land, lay the foundation, built the structure and completed it. Technically, you own the building (party). If they want to call the landlord, it is you. Others who assisted one way or the other can not lay claim to it.

For me, PYO mess up big time. How can he ever imagine he can beat BAT in a primary election of a party formed by BAT. Tinubu understands the very foundation of the party and remains the landlord. He knows who and who to me. He once said "elo fi plan bale".

If Osibanjo trust is popularity, and general acceptance by Nigerians, he should have decamp to another party (like Peter Obi did, even though Obi's action is a mistaken one). YPP is there, he'll get the ticket and then contest general election there.

The morals of the lesson is no matter how right you are, or how acceptable you are by people, you can't be right, doing wrong, in another man's house.
