My aim wasn't to even make profit yet but to outrightly blow the account but not with nonchalance. I tried different strategies, traded limited pairs( something i won't advice a swing trader ), watched videos and what not.

What blew the account was the pairs i have now come to love and understand--- Gold,oil and Nasdaq . Ic.market's minimum lot size for those assets were between 0.5 and 1 (imagine that for $200 )

I ran the account up to $800 and was feeling fly (with dangerous lot sizes, how foolish! ). Before the next day, the account balance was $57. Naim my body cool down.

in those six months, I felt the excitement from seeing plenty profit to the frustrations from losses and limited pairs to the humility of managing account small small.

I'm still progressing anyway but small small, we go dey alright.

My own experience was....i develop trading strategy on Wednesday...it will worrk Thursday & Friday...i promise u on Monday following week na loss straight.

When i watch the showw Billions...the quant trader said we deal with uncertainty.....That's why we take calculated risks.

Indicators keh? i dun stop using indicators from my binary options days...pure P A. the issue was i was trading reversals instead of following the trend. & If my SL never hit i no go leave the trade...i gaz learn about mental stop loss & hard stop loss..+partial profits..

I haven't tried Fxopen before, so I can't really say anything about them.
FBS is the broker I use at the moment, and the difference in spread of their micro account and cent account isn't that much, almost the same.

I'll suggest you decide on the type of trader you want to be first; swing, scalper or day trader.

If you're a scalper then ECN account is what you need, the spread here is very low, atimes 1 or even 0. Though there's commission for every trade placed.

But if you're a swing trader, then you can go with the micro account.

true sha! Foundation matters a lot. most started learning the basics with indicators and so they tend to build their systems combining different indicators. the truth is that majority of forex tutors are fund of using indicators and so as their students

Just try and book profits of 30-50 pips along the way. GBPUSD and us 30, crypto - everything is expected to crash. That being said, we will only make money by taking it one zone at a time, expect a lot of pullbacks that can shake up your position. Better to wait for monday or TUESDAY to catch any potential swing move.

there's crypto option and normal bank transfer also.

I just confirmed the Deposit and withdrawal and they are both fast, under 25mins I'm done with deposit and withdrawal.
Advantage account is the best with 0 spread on major currencies and low commission fee.
I have an account with them since 2018 and i ignored the account due to too much spread and high commission fee but now, they have the lowest spread,low commission fee and excecution is fast also. I think FXTM is good (my opinion) but never the less do your own research.

The withdrawal options you will see is local banking and nigerian local bank transfer. Korapay is the payment network used to facilitate the local banking. Like i stated earlier, withdrawal with it is in minutes. If you select Nigerian local bank transfer, that one can take up to 24 hrs to reflect.

The only time local banking takes more than a day to withdraw funds is if you try to withdraw funds after 6pm on a friday. That withdrawal can only be processed on the next Monday.
