What most Nigerians dont know is that igbos are the least tribalistic tribe in Nigeria. They weigh options before them on its value. They have a God given ability to decipher a good and bad product. Even if the bad product is theirs, they will reject it. That was why they rejected Buhari in 2003 despite Buhari having an illustrious son (Chief Okadigbo) as his running mate. They instead went for Obasanjo, a yoruba man who had an Atiku, a fulani man as his running mate. In 2007, they rejected Buhari again who had another Igbo as his running man (Ume ezeoke) for another Fulani man, Yaradua who had Goodluck Jonathan, an Ijaw man as his running mate. In 2011 and 2015, they went with Jonathan over Buhari, why? Because they know a bad product is a bad product, even if its theirs. Today, every body across the nation is clamouring for Peter Obi. Igbos are proud to tell the rest of the nation that he is a good product. Replace him with the likes of Rochas Okorocha, Orji Uzor Kalu and see if igbos wont reject them. Please, ask yourself today, am I supporting whoever because he is my tribesman or because I believe he is the best to turn the fortunes of Nigeria around. Please, let us set aside tribalism and nepotism and support the candidate who we all know is capable of saving this nation from the edge of destruction. Tribalism brought in this administration of Buhari in 2015. See where it has left Nigeria. If we make the same mistake again, there may never be a chance for recovery again.

TMCs go soon come here. By the way, if we remove sentiments and pity our children, let's do the right thing for our country. You all know the right man. |

I don't understand the Igbo attachment. Is it only igbos coming out enmass to support him? Many are oblivious of the effect of APC ganging up against Osinbajo for Tinubu. Anyone who is detribalised that listens to Peter Obi would love him. Nigerians, especially the youths and intellectuals embraced Peter Obi before most igbos seemed to come onboard. The South east are undecided and may likely vote Obi if IPOB jettisons their agitation. Doyin Okupe was the one who believed in him when even his Anambra brothers in PDP were laughing at the nonsense Wike was saying against him in Anambra. I dare say, only a few Igbo politicians are not envious of Peter Obi.They don't want him but Nigerians who know his worth want him. Peter Obi may be Igbo but doesn't represent igbos. He is the new bride that appeals to Workers, Youths, Intellectuals and hardworking Nigerians .He is not the usual politician and that's why those who crave for a New Nigeria choose him above the old gang of thieves |

derecho:I appreciate your post. I made that post because while Peter Obi represents a movement from the old corrupt ways to a new, with a national acceptance, some mischievous people are cleverly trying to make him look like an 'igbo thing', just to discredit him. Begin to take note henceforth and see a deliberate push to make him look like an ethnic champion. Hence, the need to let them know that igbos are only queuing behind him because we too, like most Nigerians know he is the best Nigeria has at the moment |

Suffering does not spare any tribe, region or religion.. We may disagree about many things but one thing is certain. We cannot continue like this. Something must give.. Vote right in 2023..vote Peter Obi.. |

My brother, forget these pained agents of APC and PDP. Let them try everything, Peter Obi's supporters are not like them, who know nothing but 30k. Those looking at him like that are envious politicians who couldn't believe the silent revolution without money inducement. What'd they do when people affected by the OWO massacre that sees it as the work of Islamic fundamentalists? Omoluabis don't sheepishly follow thieves. Tinubu has stolen what belongs to us and given it to a few persons. We know the pact he has with his fellow jihadists in the north to sacrifice Osinbajo. No sane Yoruba person who is privy to Tinubu's greed wants him.Osinbajo was an omoluabi but Tinubu's greed will destroy Yorubaland plusfield: |

All about sentiments. An Igbo man made a presidential bid at last. But to what end? I love the passion, but not yet UHURU. |

I hv said it and i will keep saying it that, if una like mak una vote another calamity, mine own concern right now na to gather money and leave dis country for una. I found out that both d leafers and d citizens are just same. Bcs im still wrapping my head why out of d young men in both APC and PDP it was only Atiku and Tinubu that they could found worthy to be given d tickets and yet people are supporting them. Just imagine where u hv btw Osibanjo Amaechi Tinubu And people said that Tinubu is d best? and u tell ne that their is a future in d country again? |

Story.... Another igbo man is already cursing him. That's the APGA chairman. Just like they voted during the primaries, what's important to the igbos is money, not power. They will sell out to Atiku and Tinubu, I can bet my balls for that. Just dangle the VP slot in their eyes, over 500 candidates will show interest.

How do you know a tribalist or religious person? They talked about it every day and night even where credibility permits. |
