To win Presidential election in Nigeria goes beyond being popular. You have to control Government Agencies like INEC and Police. You have to do dirty works or have people that will do dirty works for you.
Osinbajo was the most credible aspirant in APC but he lost to Tinubu becos he could not do the needed dirty works . Peter Obi cannot also do these dirty works due to his integrity. With the likes of Chris Uba and Uche Ekwunife doing the dirty works for him in Anambra, Atiku will defeat Peter Obi in his home State.
Hence with the corrupt state of Nigeria, nice people like Peter Obi and Osinbajo cannot win presidential elections.
