richie3384:I am answering only you because you asked your question politely. Election is being done on 4 fundamental basis. 1. Self interest. APC control majority of political functionaries today from presidency, governors, senators among others. PDP also have considerable number of them. Their party success will continue to make them relevant politically so they will do everything possible to deliver for their party. The weakest governor is equal to 50k votes. 2. Ethnic colouration: Since Northern governors are the one choosing Tinubu. SW and NW is bulk votes for him and will also win NC. Atiku win NE and slightly win SS. Obi will share SE votes with Atiku. 3. popularity and influence; Tinubu and Atiku are far ahead of others. Those names are household names. 4. Religion; Tinubu and Atiku are Muslims but southern Christian will prefer Tinubu than Atiku. Tinubu only wife is a redeem pastor. |
