The pan body of the Ohaeze Ndigbo youth forum has said that the governor of Delta State, Gov Ifeanyi Okowa is an Igboman.

However, Okowa in an interview with Arise TV told Nigerians that he is an Igbo by tribe but he's from Delta state.

The Ohaeze youths told the vanguard that Gov Ifeanyi Okowa is an Igbo man so he will get all the supports he needs from them.

You either don't know what you're saying or you're being economical with truth. Has an Ibibio claimed Igbo? Ibibio, Efik and Annag share same heritage with Igbos but can never claim Igboness. Deceitful Ikwerre wish to eat their cakes and have it. To escape marginalization meted against Igbo, they deny being Igbo but when it's time to get votes they suddenly have Igboness.
