Party Structure never fit give us better hospital.

One of the things I still find very hard to understand in this country is why our leaders embark on foreign medical tourism. They are so shameless. Going abroad to receive treatment in a hospital built by another president, is rather a shameful act. It's a clear indication that our leader don't mean well for the country.

It is not good to wish anyone bad. But as for this man I wish he never return alive, he's one of the reason we continue to witness this banditry. Who knows this might even be karma at it peak.

Good point, but let's be honest...our hospitals are underresourced from an underresourced budget.

Nigeria spends less than 3 billion dollars on health. Our budget is less than 30-40 billion dollars on a good day. Countries where people port to for healthcare spend about 100 billion dollars on health alone.

UAE produces 2.4m barrels of crude a day, for a populaiton less than 20 million. Nigeria does 1.7 m barrels...for 210 million people. Do the math.

And we push our budget into deficit by overreliance on oil and also by wasteful subsides on power and petrol, and by a very poor tax uptake rate.

I remember when Ojukwu was flown abroad with Air Ambulance following a stroke he suffered. He could not make it by any chance. He was not even up to 80 years old like this man

Are you ready then to pay the taxes and fees that foreigners pay to get good hospitals?

Not justifying bad leadership, but let's be realisitc. Most of us think that the road to good economic development means spending more time selling raw materials whose prices are never favourable to us and sharing the money. Instead of being industrial and rasing tax revenue.
