You are talking as if foreign mercenaries did not involve in Nigeria civil war. Ukranian nationalists seized opportunity to form their own country during Russian revolution. Bolshevik Army defeated UA after 4 to 5 years of fighting. Bolshevik Army started the revolution with aim to form USSR.
