I've never seen a Nigerian politician accepted by the masses like Peter Obi. The closest to what we are experiencing is Aminu Kano of blessed memory. However, for Obi, I see only two obstacles to the presidency.

1) The Obi movement is yet to impact the core north like the south. Considering that there are many uneducated people that politicians can exploit in the north, Obi has his job cut out. No acute political observer would doubt that Obi would win in the south, specially SE and SS. What is in doubt is the margin with which he would win in some SW states and if he would win any there because of Tinubu.

2) The rigging machinery in the SW and PDP. PDP and APC are traditionally known for rigging. While PDP has perfected this art in 16 year of holding power, APC has learned it well using thug that can intimidate voters in places like Lagos and Kano and the use of INEC to disenfranchise voters where opposition is high. The use of underage voters is also the expertise of northern APC.

If Peter Obi and the Labour party could work on these two obstacles, he'll be the president in 2023.

Oga that's a pure lie. Southern votes alone has not made anybody President since 1999 and in previous elections before 1999.
You need a percentage of all parts of Nigeria to reflect
