To all the tech guru, I’d like to know how productive can one get using macbook pro 2011 model for web development project.
The macOs is high sierra. Considering this, is apple still supporting the version and if not, can it be upgraded to high version or window OS?

I need your honest opinion please. Before I proceed with the deal of getting it.

Can't go above that OS. If it will cost you up to 200K. Go for a windows laptop with 8th + Gen Core i5/i7 instead.

I use a 2011 MacBook pro 13.3 and I'm running windows 10 on it. Apple stopped supporting ios upgrade on it a while ago, meaning you can't go beyond high Sierra

It's a very good pc if you can get it cheap, otherwise, I'd strongly advise you to get a latest windows machine for your web development

Thanks for your response.
The choice is split in two, getting a high end hp PC is not coming cheap considering the high rates and i have an offer for the same mac model as yours for a cheap price.
Good to know i can run window 10 on it, how can i go about that please? And hope there won’t be an issue switching OS

I took mine to an expert to help with the installation, it's not as straightforward as installing on the later versions of macbook.

No, switching between operating systems is very simple, I hold onto the alt key for few seconds to switch (when restart)
