I blame Gowon for agreeing to allow you guys back into Nigeria after the liberation of the Niger Delta.

Gowon , being a northern minority, agreed with Zik and his minions in Ojukwu's cabinet to reintegrate Biafra back to Nigeria. The Marxist coup plot did not want a Biafra but an Igbo dominated central govt like we have today with the Fulani. But when the north struck and chase them out and the pogroms that followed, Ojukwu, still bent on controlling the newly discovered oil wells in the Niger Delta, arbitrarily annexed and declared all of the COR region as part of Biafra.

Now this was OK with the Marxist who carried out the coup and also Zikist elements until the Niger Delta was liberated they then began secret negotiations with Gowon to be reintegrated into Nigeria knowing the remnants of Biafra being the current 5 contiguous Igbo states was not feasible as an independent nation. For this reason they sabotaged their own wat effort by providing Intel to the Nigerian side.

Gowon was under tremendous pressure by northern officers to stop the war after the liberation of COR region but Gowon being a minority northerner and a christian wanted the igbos back in Nigeria to checkmate the excesses of the Jihadist north. It is for this reason Gowon pushed on to reintegrate Igbo land back into Nigeria.

Domkat Bali, a fellow northern minority officer from Lantang and a Christian said in his book that , the reasons the middle belt officers wanted Igbos back into Nigeria was to help check the Fulani north.

So you guys must understand something:

1. Igbos sabotaged their Biafra and war effort after the liberation of the COR region. Igbos back then saw Biafra being feasible only with the forced annexation of the COR regions of present day, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers and Bayelsa , Note that this COR region had been advocating to leave the old eastern region over complaints of marginalization by the Igbo majority whom the British gave more seats in the house.

2. The COR region had already succeeded getting representatives from the north, west and mid-west to support the creation of the region out of the old eastern region at the federal level. This was after several motions moved in the old eastern region house at Enugu by the so-called minorities was struck down by the Igbo majority. The next action was to go federal to which they succeeded.

3. On January 15, the Federal House was still on Christmas break and was scheduled to reconvene a few days later and the first matter to be deliberated was the creation of the COR region through a call for plebiscite.

This is when your greed overpowered your senses and you decided to do a coup killing all the leaders of the three other regions and from there abolishing regional assembly , creating a central govt and imposing yourselves as the new rulers of Nigeria towards cornering the oil wealth to yourselves.

When the mid-west people of current Edo and Delta, rose a motion in the old western region to be granted their own separate region, did the majority Yorubas oppose it? No. This is despite the fact that the yorubas had more seats combined. The Yorubas respected the wishes of the people and agreed for the carving out of Midwestern region from old western region. Was this the case with you igbos when the so-called minorities demanded same at Enugu? No! Your Zik even stated that without the minority regions, the Eastern region will be the poorest.

In conclusion, nobody will miss you guys neither is anyone stopping you from leaving Nigeria . The only objection we have is you idiots dragging us into another of your stupid annexation ploy.

So get it into your heads, Biafra is only limited to your 5 Igbotic states. This is where a referendum will be conducted and I know if it comes to this, you same Igbos will reject it in entirety.
