It is in the interest of Kwankwaso to take the Vice Presidency. Peter Obi is the man of the moment- Labor party chairman, Julius Abure

The chairman of Labour party, Julius Abure, has said that it is in the interest of the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso to serve as the running mate of its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in the 2023 elections.



There have been a debate about who would serve as a running mate if both parties merge for the elections. Kwankwaso granted an interview on Sunday, July 3 where he dismissed the possibility of running as vice-presidential candidate for Peter Obi.





In a tweet posted on the party's handle this evening, the Party chairman was quoted as saying it would be in Kwankwaso's interest to run with Peter Obi who ''is the man of the moment- Labor party chairman''

Whether Kwankwaso takes the VP slot or not, we move. Peter Obi is the undisputed choice of millions of Nigerians and anything short of that will be unacceptable to Nigerians.

Joe Biden was already into U.S politics for more than 35 years, but yet he agreed to be the vice to a rookie like Obama because he knew that the momentum was on Obamas' side.
Right now everyone understands that it's the turn of the south to rule, & everyone knows that Peter Obi has more momentum right now than the so called Kwankwanso.
Kwankwaso should just get ready to lose again because he just made a very big mistake.
Beyond the north, he's an unknown entity.
& he would most definitely share northern votes with Atiku.
He only got popular in the south this year after he started trending with Peter Obis' name, but that doesn't mean that anyone in the south would leave Tinubu or Obi to vote for him either.
There's no way he can win the presidential election with only northern votes.
His best option would have been to collaborate with Obi.
But unfortunately northerners are always greedy and tribalistic, & they feel that ruling Nigeria is forever their birthright.

There's issues, if Kwakwazo is not ready for VP slot then we'll have to go our ways. Obi is just a driver of the movement. We have thousand and one qualified northern brothers and sisters both Muslims and Christian Christians. Let there be no bad blood.

Someone who registered on nairaland 2019 is calling me a kid.
I've been on Nairaland for more than 10 years, so that should give you a little idea that even in reality that we are not age-mates.
The truth of the matter is that Kwankwanso started trending more this year due to the Obi effect.
Even when he was the Governor of Kano state or the minister of defense, his name never trended nation-wide like it's trending now & i doubt if even you knew him back then.

Peter obi would have automatically been President had He been Atiku's V.P immediately after his tenure because the cry of the south east presidency chance would be accepted, but He chickened out at the last moment. Who would have won him in the primaries after Atiku must have completed his tenure, no one.
The bitter truth is that Obi will not win this election, it takes more than being popular on social media. Can you sensitze those people in rural areas about Obi, those guys feel they only have their dividends of democracy ones in every 4 years which is on election day. Those are the places where election fraud occurs, they will be asking, " na who dey pay pass".
Those are the places figures are manipulated, those are the people who determine our fate in this country.
In the big cities you can barely see vote buying,but in the rural areas is where the underage and vote buying occurs most.

Obi and Kwankwanso are just election accessories for 2023. They just want their pictures to be on the ballot papers. Neither of them stands a chance even if they work together.

They both political puppets as far as 2023 is concerned. The game is between APC and PDP.

The truth of the matter is that this election is between Tinubu & Obi.
Added to the internal war going on in P.D.P because most of their Governors felt that the presidential election should have been zoned south, Atiku doesn't stand a single chance because his bloc votes have already been divided by Kwankwaso in the north & Peter Obi in the South-South and the South-East.
And there's no way that the West would leave Tinubu & vote for him.
The only way that Atiku can actually stand a chance of winning is if Kwankwaso & Obi decide to collapse their structures & return to P.D.P.
Asides that, Atiku is a non-factor in the next presidential race, & that's the reason he's the least talked about aspirant.

It’s not about being a teacher or Dr. it’s your political weight, acceptance and structure.

If it’s about what you talking about, Buhari should be Osinbajo’s vice. In politics, degrees cannot get you far but political structure and acceptance.

If it were degrees, we won’t have this crop of politicians in the first place.

Obi currently has a structure that is greater than Kwankwaso's
NLC and TUC are now backing him with their structures. This happened about two weeks ago.

Obi also has the greatest buzz amongst all the presidential candidates.
