For many years, Malam Peter Obi has been silently contributing to the development of Nigeria. This is seen in his various educational endowments in the North and support for entrepreneurial projects in the North. Peter Obi has maintained that he is not desperate for power but desperate to see Nigeria working, and to see the North as the engine of national production to make the country a truly peaceful and prosperous giant. Obi had built bridges across the country. But they are not the regular bridges of political transaction and elite pocket structures. His bridges are to the real masses, the talakawas. Yes ooo When Tinubu visited North he went to share two cups of rice with cassava flour. When Obi visited, he visited all abandoned companies and is already pumping in money strategically to see them revived without making an ounce of noise about it. How many northerners have been investing in the South? We have taken this Northern worship to another level. Who told you guys that we depend on the North to survive as a country or individual. In all govt, you see them tropping to the North donating this or that, building this or that. Let the northern politicians reciprocate the same in South. Also, the govt provides money for all those philanthropic gestures just that money is siphoned. Stop this worship. We have two types of Nigerian men. The North and south men. North has confidence even as a poverty stricken begger or almajiri while the South,from their politicians to industrialists lack self confidence. Look at all of them in this forum disgracing themselves running around northerners when the North don't care about them. They are the bedrock of Nigerian economy yet they are not proud of themselves. They make money and go to the North to be recognised. How many of them has reciprocated such gesture in their town? Continue hyping the North to your oblivion. Shame.
