Ashoala was becoming a distraction to the team but her absence will make the difference. Players were always looking for her with the ball. Other players will shine as the falcons progresses in the competition.
What about Plumptre, what happened to her?

You are an idiot. Obikerenke song has nothing to do with Peter Obi. It’s a popular song for exercise or jogging in the south east.

Anumanu.
The song has gone global as far back as in the 80's though it's origin can be traced to the South East

The botwasna jersey was really coolDo u notice these things in yesterday matches»
Falcons used the height privilege against SA to stop crosses and the SA bayana bayana were energetic;i noticed their starting duo: keeper and one light skin fair robust defender with something like brown white hair were benched for the match from the begining still they won.Burundi girls tried yesterday but couldn't possess the ball or stop the ball well as an individual player which contributed to the goals in which yoruba call "sopa" or "lago".The falcons only used experienced yesterday they couldn't really make some shots on target when close to the goal instead they pass to the available player inside the box.A falcon midfieder with jersey no 20(with her hair dangling downwards) was shooting wide from the wing outside the box like 20 yards away.
We av two of them i think thr is one that played from left wing against SA, she is moving so well with d ball

In the last 5 years, falcon had struggled against South Africa. If this was Mercy Akide’s and Perpetua Nkwocha’s team, I’d say yes, we will thrash South Africa but this is a different falcons.

In 2018 women AFCON, South Africa beat Nigeria 1-0, we triumphed against zambia and Equatorial Guinea to meet Cameroun in the semifinals…again Falcon struggled against the indomitable lioness. We beat Cameroun on penalties before meeting South Africa again. Falcons were lucky because South Africa in my opinion dominated the midfield like they did few days ago but Nigeria beat them on penalties to lift the trophy.

I think we should have the best team in the continent. We’ve not seen the best of Oshoala, Ajibade, Ayinde, Kanu etc.

Ayinde is a baller when she’s in form, great addition to the midfield and I do hope we get the best out of her. Ajibade is young, athletic, lots of juggling skills which I hope she’s able to bring into her game. She’s slim, well built, fit, can run but for some reasons, she appears inhibited when she’s playing. I believe that she can turn things around and be a game changer. I think we haven’t seen up to 60% of what she can do…she just need to stay focused and show more confidence in her game.

I’m not very confident in the ability of this foreign coach. Not much has changed since he came in and not much has changed since the French girls whooped us 8-0. Falcons have struggled not just against South Africa but also against Cameroun, Ghana and lately Ivory Coast.

They need to find their scoring boots. Falcons will be embarrassed if they played against Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Netherland, Canada, Austra, Belgium, Japan…let’s not mention USA and England.
ogs person no dey lose for ur village for d fact the coach study the defects and spring d needed changes in the team haba Nigerians I kW u don't like forigen coaches but I must say d truth d coach no work

Yes I played football and I still play. With the exception of Onumonu, Payne, Alozie, Oluehi, others need to wake up. Onumonu, Payne and Alozie have been consistent. Others need serious improvement. Again Falcons should rise above this. They haven’t attained the height expected of them and you shouldn’t be deceived by the 2-0 victory over Botswana.
Bostwana may be relatively ranked low in female football but they played well.

The 2-0 win was well deserved. They worked for it and dominated the Bostwana ladies but for some loss of possessions and futile efforts at goal.

A lot of credit to the creative midfielder today - Ayinde, unlike the game they had against South Africa.

Stop being too critical, it was a very good performance from the Super Falcons

Which country is better than the falcons in the competition?

South Africa team will collect anytime they meet again. Our girls will no longer depend on Ashoala to deliver. Dat lazy oyibo defender will not be there and also that goalkeeper.
Ashleigh P. should actually replace Onome Ebi whenever falcons play a fast paced team like South Africa. Onome is getting old and struggled against pacy attackers.

Ashleigh is actually a central defender. Mind you, she played well against South Africa in the first match.

She doesn't even play wing-back in her club - Leceister City. She is a natural Central Defender. Manager played her out of position.

What we see is a lack of investment in female football. We expect bountiful harvest with poor or no sowing of seeds. South Africa will surpass us as they are doing the right things.

We are still being lazy on the right things and busy on the wrong things. The Falcons are a pale shadow of the dominant force they used to be.

That oyibo poor defending led to the first goal. Very lazy defender
Oh shut up, she marked her opponent who had to cut back and pass the ball to a free South African lady who was free and supposed to be marked by the two central defenders of Super Falcons. She breezed through their middle and scored the goal.

Nigeria football is been a pain for while

Why is gift Monday not playing....

A ghirl that can score 4 goals in a match is kept on the bench because shis is home based?

In the last when we dominated the team is built from home

Even broke into the team playing for Rivers Angels
That is nigeria for you though she later played but there are still others more good than her but they were denied the chance to play in women npfl thru this corrupt practice in nff.Congrats for Gift sha
