Alhamdulilah, the 10th day of Dhulhijjah (day of Eid), is equivalent to Saturday, the 9th day of July this year. It is a sunnah of the prophet to offer sacrifice to Allah on Eid. Attached is the du'a to be said when offering or slaughtering a sacrifice. Try and memorize it.

May Allah accept my du'a. Amin.

I have a question- must the person offering the sacrifice be the one to slaughter it?,
if no, how and when will the dua be recited?

Ancient people , ancient life, stone age mentality, if Islam had been the dominant religion on earth smart phones ,and Technology would never have existed. You should appreciate Christians atheist and pagans for making this world a civilised place .

Here we go again the so called peaceful Christianity jumping from one Islamic post to another every Fridays. And later this set of people will be online claiming good people and said Muslim are not tolerant. Have u seen any Muslim attacking Christians posts here on Sundays?
