You don't know what you're talking about. Go to Sri Lanka first and see how horrible life is for the citizens. They demanded the president to step down for months but he refused to listen to them. They had to physically go to his residence and chase him out Can you imagine? They even banned petrol sales to the public for 2 weeks. There's no gas for them to cook with. Several people have died waiting in queues for gas, kerosene, and petrol. Essential medicines are not available. Prices of everything are skyrocketing. Children snd adults are suffering from malnutrition Should they continue to suffer and keep their mouths shut? Abeg, the president should know his limits and understand that he's there to serve the people. They voted him in and they have every right to vote him out for performing so badly Blackfire: 2 Likes |

Amotekun777:Political uprisings in Africa always end up targeting the poor and the defenseless. If there was an uprising that ONLY specifically targets politicians and their families while making demands for provisions that help the people, watch how fast things will turn around. Politicians will only do the right thing when they have to live in constant fear of the people. That's the way it should be. Meanwhile in Nigeria, it's the people who are living in constant fear of crackdown by the authorities. The Sri Lankans are smart aiming for the jugular by targeting the politicians responsible for their suffering. That's the power people have!
