This noise to a typical white American..it's like you dancing to indian music.They cannot process the beats.Its alien to their ears.You also will struggle listening to rock music.Its cultural and it's upbringing...they cannot process our afropop ..they can't dance to it..they can't get the beats or the rymth...if they attended it just like sampling foreign cusine once in a while .Black people will instinctively get Africa music and dance to it.White people the same to their genre.. instrument are different.. arrangements different

The fact they are dancing to it and reciting it,is just what we need. I don’t expect more cos in my opinion that is the very definition of acceptance. They don’t need to understand the lyric and the pattern of our thoughts to those lyrics just as much as I couldn’t understand theirs. Musical is spiritual,and language is nota barrier when you make good music . Just sing along whether or not you understand it or the language. It okay not sound odd when singing it most especially since it’s not originally it’s not your culture.

They have no choice,they are listening to it. Our lines are catchy and so are our beats. Plus the languages aren’t entirely different from English. Just a little twist here and there.

There is nothing to forget,the world is already addicted to its and that addiction will go on for the longest of time,so get use to it.
On the flip side,you try forgetting Nigerian music and let see how well you succeed with that.

I have no problem with nigerian music - I listen to them often - I get it - I dont get say indian or chinese or arabic music.

Its been said " white people CAN'T dance," with good reason. If you've eyes you can see it. Look at white couples in a hip hop club- stiff jerky, all elbows almost like a muay thai workout in a phone booth! Observe them at their own rock concerts- same movements.
