A Nigerian high profile politician and Director in Northern Alliance Committee, Alhaji Sanusi Babban Tanko, has called on the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer in the 2023 presidential election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to be magnanimous in victory and join forces with Senator Kabiru Gaya, former Kano State Governor in order to have a landslide victory in the Northwestern part of Nigeria.

Tanko who is the first Nigerian to donate a campaign office to Tinubu Campaign Organization in the Northern Nigeria, said that Senator Gaya is presently the longest serving Senator in the Senate who has serve with distinction and to the admiration of millions of Nigerians, following his track records in the Upper Chamber.

He continued, “…if Tinubu can extend hands of fellowship to Senator Gaya with his vast experiences, dexterity and doggedness, and other compatriots despite that Gaya worked for a different camp in the just concluded Presidential primaries, then, it could be said that he is a great apostle of politics without bitterness as demonstrated by the late Mallam Aminu Kano, the doyen of Kano politics and a great Kano political icon of the first and 2nd Republic.

“For the records, Alhaji Gaya’s influence towers above his adversaries, his political influence is huge in Jigawa, North-west and the entire country as a whole. He holds the key to the three Northern geopolitical zones Asiwaju Tinubu is banking on to win the 2023 Presidency.

He has a lot of followers in these Zones and will be willing to work so hard on the emergence of Tinubu’s presidency in 2023.” Tanko assured.

Alhaji Tanko who is one of the frontline campaigners for the APC standard bearer, also commended Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on his visit to other contestants, a move that endears all APC supporters to his candidature and promote peace and tranquility, “this is a great manifestation of true leadership, which will help our great party in achieving success at all levels.”

He appealed to all party faithful’s to always remain loyal and steadfast as they are working for the greater successes of the APC in the coming elections and for overall advancement of the Nigeria.
