guys please this week has not been so good for me, most of the profits I made last week, na only small thing remain this week.
90% of my trades this week have been hitting stop loss after which it starts returning back to profit when I'm not watching or have moved on to another trade.
I use a 50pips SL and 100pips TP, pls is it too tight?
what if I increase the SL and it doesn't return back to profit?

I hope this post encourages us to strife to be better in our endeavors.
It's been over 5 years, I have been hearing about forex & the unlimited opportunities it offers. Over this period, I have had so much bad mixed & bitter experiences.....I never gave up.

In 2020, I decided to improve on myself & stick to what works for me best. I demo traded & got acquainted more with my style.

The confidence to go live came over a year ago, I was cash strapped as I had a lot of commitment. I continued demo trading and my confidence grew.

By May 2021,I secured a loan via NYIF & I went live with a chunk of the fund ($150). I told myself.... This is it, I will give it my best in a cautious way.

I drew out a plan with 18 months feasibility:
Low Level...... Take $150 to $500
Mid Level...... $500 to $1000
High Level..... $1 000 to $10 000
Advance Level..... Earning $1 000 monthly.

In less than two months, I am edging close to ML target with mild ease.

Me thinking.... Do we have trades earning $10 000 annually in Nigeria

Lol. The real reason a lot of persons believed forex is a scam is not farfetched, boss. And this is it: Lets say a trader is in a buy trade. The market Buys from point A to point B with 43 candlesticks before it could touching his TP. And it immediately Sells (retrace) from point B to point A with just 11 candlesticks - thereby taking him out. And he fused over that for a while.

Another day comes, he decided to sell, armed with the other days experience, he resolved that it pays to sell than to buy, since it took just fewer candlesticks on the sell part to hit his point of Entry after he Bought. So, he entered a Sell, but instead of the market to use few numbers of candlesticks, as he fathomed, Mr. Market now used 157 candlesticks to sell and still didn't activates his TP before retracing back to SL and close him out.

Before you know it, 'FOREX IS SCAM!' was given birth to, by the frustrated one
