Ekiti folks said the same thing going into their gubernatorial, but we all saw what played out. There's no way vote sellers will pay you without tendering evidence of voting their party in an election.
As we speak, phones are still being allowed into polling booths, so how on earth is it possible to collect money and still vote your conscience in this country?
The onus is on the security agencies to arrest both vote sellers, and those who come to the polling booths with mobile phones. Under no reason, should anyone be allowed to show-off their forms at the centre.
But, omo, no matter how hard we try, this country always ensures that there is a gulf between 'what is' and 'what should be'.
In anycase, Osun people will face the consequences of their actions and inactions at the polls today. That needs to sink into the heads of those eager to collect these blood monies in the name of chopping national cake.
