He was voted in cos those people in 16 years failed. He would have channeled the resources for doing Railways and school feeding into building a working refinery which will benefit everyone and equally help improve the economy.
to thank God u know he constructed railways and fed school children.the railways too will benefit ppl.some of the refineries are currently under maintenance,I really don't know the level of progress right now.u can find out.

are u really asking me these questions?these are questions u shud have asked years ago when we had the chance to make changes. now that we are trying just to survive, with all the corruption going on,u are expecting miracles.even if we had angels in Nigeria, dey can hardly do anything.as I chat with u,I have this 70% assurance that if u had any opportunity u will steal govt money.so it's when we change our attitude as followers that we can expect good leadership.buhari cannot be everywhere.
Yes he cannot be everywhere but what had he done about the corruption in his cabinet, how many of them went to jail?
A lot of them are exposed over the years but what did he do about it.
Also about insecurities, are you not here when he was rehabilitating Terrorists?
How do you expect there to be change when he keeps running around in circles.

u must think u are talking to a novice.which debt did Obasanjo clear?abi dey wrote off the debt.as for Goodluck,he was already borrowing to pay salaries so there was nothing like positive balance sheet.it was under Goodluck that the excess crude account was shared.money that we wud have fallen back to when the rains came calling.google what soludo, okonjo iweala said on Nigerian economy before the present administration.
At least you said you aren't a novice
Amaechi who so happens to be a minister in this government was the chief opponent of saving ECA
Since buhari has enough clout and goodwill surely he can get the mounting debt written off as well grin

guess what?if dere is any leader that is willing to fight corruption,it's buhari.he might get it wrong in some aspects, but u can't actually fault his person.please in all the corruption cases, which can u personally point to him as a person?the system is the problem right now.u might not know buharis antecedent, but u can Google the case of umaru dikko and what buhari did to him.when u try to block these stealings, ppl will create a hole somewhere else, ppl are on daily basis undermining the system.they steal and set aside part of the money for court cases, criminal lawyers like ozekhome will defend this criminals in court and use loopholes in the judicial system to free them.as for terrorism, ever heard of maitatsine?google what happened to them,so buhari is not new to fighting terrorism,it just happens that the present insecurity which did not begin today by the way has taken a different dimension and will overwhelm just anybody.

It's even cheaper compared to what we buy in Ghana . One liter of petrol is 10 cedis here. Which is around 600 or 700 naira per liter .
How much is minimum wage or per capital income in Ghana?

How stable and available is electricity and other basic amenities in Ghana?

Buhari had 7 years to build new and repair old refineries. What did he do? Nothing!!

I guess APC members are the only ones buying at 165 naira.
And before Buhari, Nigeria had no president?

There's no money for repair or building of new refineries when Nigeria keep paying for fuel subsidy.

Wat Buhari met 97 naira.
What jonathan met 65 naira... Now we hail the stupid jonathan cos of we are stupid people... Bad is bad and good is good is not in nigeria dictionary...
Nigeria dictionary is like bad small, good small bad plenty, good plenty and yet we say we are intelligent...
All politicians are thief and almost all nigerian citizens are crooks.
So in the equation we are all the same not until we all change our ways which is almost impossible...
A country in which citizen call theft runs
Citizen hail yahoo boys or being proud of them but they call politicians thief...
A country where we don't take account for our actions but blame others
funny thing is everyone does it in which stretched to political class and elite as well...
Someone steals we say... The is government fault cos of no job...
Someone does prostitution... We say it's government cos of poverty...
Someone dies in an accident they say it's because of bad roads and it's the government... Road is bad alright but why speedy on a bad road... I saw a thread where some took a picture of him running at 170kmpl... Imagine
2 communities are fighting for land and killed each other... We say it's fulani people..
We have a long way to go. Damn

As usual

1.It's all the government's fault...for not removing subsidy completely in 2015, or 2012 or even in 1993, so that we could have had enough profit in the system to keep refineries working.

2.Removing subsidy and privatising the refineries like since 1993 would have essentially forced NNPC to rely on its profits to keep itself and its refineries running.

3.As a result there would be no sabotage, no looting and no corruption because if there was, it affects the profits, and the ability of the refineries to run.

4.However, we all want fuel at N10 per liter....so, subsides...which prevents a profit from being made to keep the refineries running well enough.

Mr President should be ashamed of the fact that under his watch, no uniform fuel price in the country

Uniform fuel price actually is an anomally.

Fuel costs money to transport, and ideally, the cost of fuel in any place a should reflect the cost of transporting it there...so that the fuel marketer can pay for transport, and not lose money.

By your own admission, India and the USA and even several European countries have bad governments because none of them have uniform fuel prices at all.

The problem with a uniform fuel price is that at the end of the day, it costs the treasury a lot of money to keep prices uniform. And since a lot of fuel is transported by diesel trucks..and diesel trucks now cost a lot to run thanks to the high cost of diesel (which was deregulated in 2013)...it is costing government a lot more money to keep transport costs low (part of the subsidy we pay for fuel )...and this means that marketers cannot afford to keep fuel prices low because government cannot cover a large part of their diesel costs...so prices go up to meet up.

The truth is, you can never have uniform prices for any product in any country. Oranges cost less in Benue than they do in Katsina...because they have to be transported from Benue to Katsina. If you want oranges to cost the same in Katsina as they do in Benue, then government would have to pay part of the transport cost of the oranges, instead of the market. Or let the market assume the cost..which means oranges cost more in Katsina than Benue after all.

Only things that can have uniform costs are power and telecoms...and that;s because it costs nothing to transmit signals.
