Sh when they ban okada, they were celebrating, not knowing that the government will look for a way to recover the revenue, they are losing from the ban. Government are making lot of money from sells of ticket to the okada riders. Now okada is no longer there, they have to put the difference on BRT |

dnor:If an American or European on minimum wage spends 10% (2k fro on 20k minimum wage in Nigeria) or on average wage 2-5% just daily on transport alone, there would have been assassination attempts on the life of the American president and all democratic western governments would have been toppled! |

That's not true even if you live in the central area. Bus or cab from the suburbs of Nyanyan or karu, Zuba or Gwagalada axis is about N250 and you are not even half of your journey outside your area. Please lets be honest with the truth. tochman: |

Monopoly Power in Action, they destroyed the private transport operators to impose this lastma, now they are a monopoly and can increase price whenever they want as they face no competition, many women have been raped and killed in their buses , service availability and delivery is very poor, yet they increase prices anytime they like with no recourse to the passengers. |

Moh247:Your sycophancy is puerile. Why did your Thiefnuibu tin god fail to provide light rail since 1999, even though Jakande's construction was cancelled by his APC Bubu messiah when he was a military dictator in 1984? 23 years of looting smart Lagosians silly with nothing to show for it. dnor:Stop that stupid comparison. What is the standard of living with people that uses dollar and Naira respectively? Fairy cheap you say, not knowing that the minimum wage is even lower than 30k for even some people with families. You guys always sound selfish and evil not considering that a huge population of Nigerians are passing through my difficult time. An average poor American can afford to eat a full chicken everyday but an average Nigerian whole family may always find it hard. A bus pass in the US is between $2 to $3 depending on where you are going if you are paying cash and this is affordable even for the poor. People buy monthly or weekly bus pass either card or through app and is all time far cheaper despite the gas increases after almost six years |

ogododo:I don't see anything wrong with the increment....But they need to provide more buses..... |

abobote:Apart from that, deisel was N280 and now increased to N1,000 they should just make more buses available for people so that they can get to their destination on time. |
