wrong, laptops are not recommended for high intensive tasks as u may think, the desktops has always been the best on that aspect. Laptops are prone to speed throttling due to their low heat dissipation no matter the graphics card/cpu type that might exist therein, even their equivalent components in desktops re not the same the same in performance. This exist in the past bro...there is a reason they're called Gaming laptops, some of these laptops have liquid cooling in them... Asides that, the M1 max chip in the MacBook pro is something that rivals desktop dedicated gpus...this is a SOC...and it's powerful add and also crazily efficient. The only problem Gaming laptops will have in the future is power supply...Nvidia and AMD keep on pumping the wattage of their cards which is criminal and the government needs to look into this. It'll be hard to contain a GPU of 500W in a laptop but anyways tech keeps improving. In addition, if Apple decides to enter high-end gaming... it's game over for Nvidia and AMD and consoles alike |
