I bet OP have never lived in Niger Rep or Northern part of Nigeria like Sokoto. Why do you think the World Cup in Qatar was moved to December instead of July. We have far crazy hot summer in Africa than anything in Europe. The hottest places in Spain, Italy and Greece are those closer to Africa continent. |

Ignorance on OPs side. Suleja/Minna area get upto 120 f of heat, not to even mention Maiduguri or Sokoto. What about Northern Africa and Middle East. Europe is very much affected cos their houses are not designed for heat. Many houses don’t even have AC. Same heat affected Washington state recently and I got to know that most houses don’t even come with AC, just heaters cos it hardly get hot to that extend. Whereas down South West US most houses are designed and equipped to survive heat and cold but not snow for the most part. |

Blackfire:A Nigerian friend of mine in the UK was like "why are these people burning so much from this minor hit?" The just watch them as they ran into fountains of water at nearby parks. ![]() |

baralatie:That's why I asked whether you've been to NE,Nigeria once recorded temperature above 50 |
| Re: Deleted by seunny4lif(m): 1:49pm On Jul 20, 2022 |
baralatie:Niger Rep cities especially those closer to Libya recorded over 50C. Agadez normal summer temperatures are nothing less than 40C every year while in Duruku is over 55C because it’s inside Sahara desert. Just 3 days I spent in Sokoto then, makes me wonder how those people survived. I don’t even know between Niger Rep, Libya and Mali, which one is the hardest to live in summer. |

ken6488:I'll agree. Sometimes I see the houses they build there. Very rarely do they use blocks, concrete, cement and sands as we do here. Their mass housing is mostly of woods. |

This is ignorance at its peak. It has been so hot here and lesser rains, i still waka about my day. The media is just scaring people due to the globalists agenda for climate change. Two years ago, we had over 100 degrees during the summer and no one died. I dont understand what the fuss is all about. |
| Re: Deleted by seunny4lif(m): 11:31pm On Jul 20, 2022 |
rottennaija:Italian houses are mostly concretes and blocks but British houses are mostly woods mixed with small concretes in between. Bur USA houses are the worst as woods from up to down, that’s the reason a small fire always burn down everything. |

The fear now is what one could call " Heat storm". We don't want to see one day a whole city completely burned down due heat burst. |

Try and visit Niger, Sokoto, Kebbi during summer season and you will know the difference between AC and Fan |
