"17 track" stopped working for me/my email sign up (I dont know why) and "Track24" app does not track speedaf items, so I switched to "parcels". The latter shows more details than the previous two.

The question the guy asked is not about the phone. He wanted to know how much USD I've spent so far on my debit card. And I said it's about $200. As per the phone, it cost me 113.99 x 490 after deducting Aliexpress and store coupons of $24 during the June sales. So, nobody could have got it at such price elsewhere.

The package weighs 5.3 kg, so I paid #700. The Postmistress knowns I would contest it if she asked me to pay amount that's not legitimate ;as I've argued with her on similar order before. She just told me I already know how much to pay considering the weight of the parcel. So, I paid #500 for the order and then gave her #200 for soft drink.

In my own case, it's Aliexpress standard shipping, which I discovered was handled by 4px/Cainiao.

But he said no,saying that due to suggestions from buyers, he would declare the order as "used phone" and then cost it below $50. So,I allowed him to use his discretion. That was it.

I'll advice that you exercise some patience. Mine arrived day before yesterday and got to my Post office yesterday. I was supposed to pick it up same day but I wasn't around. That's why I went for it today. I believe the delivery is that fast because am based in Lagos. Were is your location?

It's serious then. According to the information on the tracking ,there's no evidence of 'failed delivery' ,meaning that your order may not have gotten to your local post office. Why don't you contact Nipost on writer or through email about the parcel, showing available evidence?

ANYTHING you buy must surely pass through customs clearance. Anything that is shipped in from another country must go through clearance.
So it doesn't matter what you buy.
But goods like phone and some heavy goods normally requires fees before it will be cleared.

So if you're lucky, you'll not pay custom fee but if you're not lucky, u will have to pay before u received your item.

Is it not the shipping/delivery company that will handle all of that??
That's part of the Services and that they take care of , right?

every AliExpress standard shipping you see is not always speedaf, it depends on the location of the seller, if the seller stays in mainland China then it's sure to be handled by speedaf(speaking from personal experience), but if it's Hongkong then that's signpost or any other courier(reason is because speedaf don't have presence in Hongkong yet)
to know the sellers location chat him up and ask him if he's shipping from mainland China or Hongkong.
but either ways, your parcel will still pass through customs, so there's no way you're evading the customs charges, the only way is to ask seller to declare it as something less than it's worth, like gift item phone case, mp3, radio etc

As for passing customs, that one I know, all items pass through customs.

My question is this, should an issue arise with Customs, say and speedaf is even the shipper, will speedaf now call me to go and face Customs if there is an issue?

Thanks Boss. You will make a good teacher, I love the way you screenshot the app icon to the description if not it would have been very difficult for me as there is different apps with the same name on App Store.

My package that was stock at custom clearance since 2022 - 07 - 07 just got updated today But from tracking its shows that it has left custom two day back. One more to go

open dispute. Seller might quote that you should return the item. If you have any Speedaf office close to you, contact them about returning an item, they will charge you, just snap evidence of returning it and get the tracking number for returning it. Provide all this in the dispute and you’ll get your refund. Good luck.. if the money involved isn’t worth the stress, you can just over look it.
