The World Bank’s latest Gross National Income per capita report shows that Nigeria’s gross national income per capita has surged to $5,250 per capita in 2021. LoL Seychelles that has a population of 100k people is making the list. Mauritius with a population of 1 million should not even be compared to Nigeria in terms of well-being of the citizens let alone Seychelles. There is no comparison between the difficulty in governing 1 million people and the difficulty in governing 200 million people. It is a lot easier to manage and help 1 million people out of poverty than it is to help 100 million people out of poverty. |
