The poverty rate in those countries and their currency too.Having pump price at #300 is unimaginable here in Nigeria. A country with no stable electricity in which all the industries in the country depend on diesel and petrol. How Venezuela take do am? no be #9 them they get fuel in Venezuela despite all USA efforts to strangulate their economy, if despite all the sanction on Venezuela by USA and they are still getting fuel at cheaper rate i see no reason why an oil producing nation like Nigeria who is under no sanction should be frustrating our lives with high cost of fuel 5 Likes |

This comparison is quite misleading. Most of the countries have economic indices way better than ours. It is easier to earn a dollar in most of them than it is to earn a dollar in Nigeria. This your table is useless how can you use our weak naira to do the convertion,what you use is the minimum wages in those country South African with a minimum wage of over 100 thousand will not feel the effect of buying petrol at 600naira compare to Nigeria that can't pay 30 thousand minimum wage,USA minimum wage is over 300k they will not feel the stress of buying petrol at 600 compare to Nigeria, in most of those country they have electricity and average people do not need fuel for electricity both at home ,office or for production but here no electricity so we suffer more,over there they have food security but here food stuff are very expensive many over there are gainfully employed but here the reverse is the case,so brother you can't compare it,this government is cursed, 19 Likes |
