I'm not defending Abia State governors both past and present, to me, they're all mediocre. However, you also shouldn't expect both states to have same investments on infrastructure when one gets 10x of what the other gets. Akwa Ibom state governors haven't been doing wonders either, it's just that they have more money to throw around.

I wouldn't want to denigrate Akwa Ibom but I found it nauseous when that guy I quoted tried to ridicule them unnecessarily.

They need to find a workable system for regularly sweeping their streets and maintaining greenery! That’s one thing Aba is lacking!

Be sincere to yourself, where would you prefer to reside between the two states
Abia state presently is the lowest of lowest,
Workers are being owed for 2 years
No infrastructure
A single flyover took more than 4 years to construct.

Dude, the thread is specifically about a road in Aba and not HDI strides! Even if it came to HDI, NdiAbia are not lacking in that regard when compared to other states in the country! Their major problems have been the poor state gov’ts they’ve had since 1999 and the anti-Igbo and warped Nigerian political-economy that’s been in place since the late 60s to date!

If it costs 1 million to build 1km of road in the North, it will cost upto 3.5 million to build that same road in the South. Talking from experience.

Ikpeazu is a complete failure. You cannot come and show us only the good section of one road(i am almost certain that other sections of same road will be bad) and start to white-wash Ikpeazu.
