Hi guys, I'm a fresh graduate so I decided to learn programming. I started over a month ago and ive learnt Html, CSS and i just started Javascript. My issue now is that I'm being told to pick frontend or backend in the academy I'm learning, so i chose backend. I am in dilemma of the backend language to choose from Java, node.js, Php. Please backend developers in the house which would you advice i go for that can easily get me an entry level job after learning and is good for the future Hannania, airlongsaycome, tensazangetsu20, Reactjs, bet9ja, afuye. mentro:Depends on Which market you're targetting. Node.js is a runtime engine for JavaScript, used for backend development . If I were in your shoes, I'll continue with Node.js considering the Nigerian market, but I'll be learning Java on the side for international opportunities. Node.js is also sought after, but Having two stack will take you far. |

Hannania:Boss which of this language, Python or Java would you advise someone to learn for DSA |

Avast:The two have the most solutions for DSA. It goes down to what language you're profient in. If you have 6months ahead, you can pick up python. Python allows you to think only about the logic, and less of syntax. Java is cool though |

Hannania:Thanks for the reply boss, so I've not started learning node.js. I am only learning the basics of JavaScript. I just want to pick one as two will be overwhelming to learn together. Which will you advise me to go for first?? |
