What if there is no funds available.

PTDF doesn't try for this year's selection process. Something that can be done in less than a week is taking them to eternity. They computerized the entire selection process and all that is required to shortlist applicants is just a click. But don't know why the delay. And they are expecting people to start September session. Many will be left with only option to defer the scholarship. From all indication, the list may not even come out this week and next week is August. Kai! Nigeria for us. We pray to be among the successful applicants in the end.

Nothing can shock me any longer again after I was selected and shortlisted for DSSC 28 Navy training and all of a sudden they lied I am not fit again after I have passed all stages in Ojo Lagos to get to that point. It took me a year and some months to get another job. Train yourself to be strong. Don't depend solely on one thing.

Same here, prior that time I have been training with some personnel of the Nigerian Army.

This is because if the list is released at this hours, there might be a media frenzy that the public universities have been shutdown and the Government is using government funds to Sponsor its officials family through the PTDF Programs.... Just thinking alone.

That is the problem of the delay. Nigerian factor can easily influence the list. The more the list is delayed, the more will be the Nigerian factor.

Some scholars went to Norway in 2016 and 2017.

No, you can not. In 2016/2017 as mentioned, then PTDF was sponsoring to all countries over the world. In the last few years, they have streamlined the countries and DO NOT sponsor to countries outside those countries.

I Just deferred my admission this morning cos deadline for showing proof of funds and getting CAS for the school for September entry is this Friday.

Instead of deferring, why didn't you ask your school if you could just send a copy of the scholarship mail invite and a screen shot of where your name was shortlisted?�

This might be true.
In 2019, success emails was first delivered, afterwards, the list was published.
So this year might also take that direction.
