How about developing gas reserves to pipeline networks close to local communities where the gas is found instead of export You must build a lot of petrochemical plants, ammonia plants c02 plants and associated chemicals from natural gas You must have power generation plants to provide electricity for communities of 200m people before exporting gas Germany has no oil or gas but BASF is the biggest chemicals company in the world whose Q2 revenu is bigger than all the Zoo called Nigeria exported last year in oil and gas But baboons are in charge of the zoo 3 Likes |

JokwaNwannem:. The Gas from Oil flaring is Associated Gas separated from Oil&Water from both Onshore & Offshore Platform during Drilling&Production, but it can be useful if channelled to Gas Processing facilities which Nigeria is some how lacking. As at now Nigeria is more richer in Gas than Oil, more than 1trillion cubic feet of Gas deposits untapped. 1 Like |

Nigeria my country! Southerners wise up. This MOU between these countries has made all the northern states in Nigeria oil producing states. PIB signed into law by Buhari stipulates that oil producing states include those states that have pipe lines pass across their state. 2 Likes |

VeeVeeMyLuv: Have salaries never been reviewed upwards in Nigeria? The issue is that Nigerians refuse to be analytical. If Nigeria made for instance 2billion Dollars even per month from Gas (which it wouldn'), how much does that translate to for every man, woman and child per month? 1 Like |

yang: Trading the gas else where is not even the problems. We have abundant gas that can stand the test of time . In some niger delta area , less than 7fits drilled down, you will see signs of gas deposit. The biggest concern is how the profit, the money from this our natural resources is being syphoning away by this evils criminals we have as leaders. All they know is stealing without any idea. It will shock you to know that Nigeria is still flaring gas , waisting it away without any plans on how to put it into proper use. So so sad |
